Do you have what it takes to become a local councillor?

It is now less than one year until Northumberland’s next County and Parish elections. If you think you have what it takes to become a local councillor register your interest today!

Representing your area is as rewarding as it is challenging, and of course it is a real opportunity to make a difference. As a councillor you can campaign on issues that matter to you and your neighbours, as well as having a real say over the issues that affect your community on a daily basis.

If you stand for Northumberland Conservatives you will become a key member of the biggest party in Northumberland. After taking control of Northumberland County Council in May 2017 we have steadied the council’s finances and delivered on our manifesto pledges to make Northumberland a county that works for everyone.

Many town and parish councils around the county have also benefited from the leadership of hardworking Conservative councillors.
