Hexham MP’s annual Christmas card competition returns

Guy Opperman MP is asking school children in years 1-6, from across Tynedale and Ponteland, to participate in his annual Christmas card competition.

The winning design will be turned into his constituency Christmas card, which will be presented directly to the Prime Minister and sent to other members of the Cabinet, local businesses, and residents.

The final deadline for entries is Friday 17th December. Guy Opperman MP is also asking the headteachers of local schools to encourage pupils to take part.

Guy Opperman MP said:

“I am delighted to be relaunching my annual Christmas card competition for young people across Tynedale and Ponteland.

"If you are interested, please send in your designs. Past competition winners were excellent, and I am expecting high quality festive entries this year!”
