Caitlin is one of the Town Councillors for the South Blyth ward. She was newly elected in 2021, taking the other Liberal Democrat seat. South Blyth is the only ward in Blyth with two Conservatives councillors. 

Caitlin is also the Vice President Campaigning of Northumberland Conservatives.

Blyth civic chains

Labour-led Blyth Town Council set to spend £15000 on mayoral chains

Monday, 25 July, 2022
On Thursday, Blyth Town Council agreed to spend £15,000 on civic chains for the Deputy Mayor and their consort. At the full council meeting, a proposal was put forward to buy new chains of office for the Deputy Mayor and the Deputy Mayoress at a cost of £15,000.
